When closed, the robust extruded aluminum cassette completely encloses the acrylic awning fabric and articulating folding arms, protecting them from dust, rain, and aggressive desert ultraviolet rays. Featuring internal heavy-duty twin bionic-tendon or steel-spring arm joints, they provide exceptional fabric tension and withstand sudden thermal wind shears.
